ISSUE in MSX1 with RAM mapper SONy HBM-512

Im testing the NeXTor DOS in a MSX1 Canon V20, the configuration used is:

MSX Canon V-20 with 64KB of internal RAM
Sunrise CF, Sunrise IDE clone and Rookie Drive
Memory expansion Sony HBM-512

All this tested with a memory expansiom connected in the slot two or one.

In this situation always same error occurs, the canon v-20 keep freezes in a black screen after IDE detection.

All the hardware works well in othes machines like MSx2, 2+ and TR.

Without RAM expansion the system boots on disk basic 1.0

Hi, it's difficult to tell what's going on as the HBM-512 seems to be a standard memory mapper expansion and Nextor seems to be running fine on a MSX1 computer with enough RAM. Would it be possible for you to test with another memory expansion in your Canon V20?

Hi Konamiman,

Recently I have purchased an original MSX-DOS2 ASCII's cartridge with 256KB of RAM expansion. I will do morentests:

SLOT 1: NEXTOR
SLOT 2: MSX-DOS2 with 256KB

I hope it not crashes it :) I will write shortly....
