Insomnia on mac - Cmd+z doesn't work anymore

Hi guys,

I used insomnia v12.6 and now it's impossible to make an undo (cmd+z).
Do you know how to fix that ?

Hi! Sorry for the awful response time, and sorry for the confusion - Cam here, the Insomnia PM.

Undo has actually not changed at all in the recent versions, it just works in a very confusing way right now. in 12.6 (or 13, or 11.5, or whatever), Undo forgets all your past actions basically any time you switch tabs or click a button (even like, the "Send" button).

This is obviously not acceptable - we had this fix planned for v13 so that undo works how you want (esp for requests), but it didn't quite make the cut. It'll be in 13.1, ETA mid July.

I'm not agree with that, I'm on 12.6, if I open a file, I modify something and I do "cmd+z" that's not undo but I's closing the tab .... and if I click on "edit -> undo" menu nothing happens.

This is largely resolved by Kong/insomnia#10152 The issue was react mounting too frequently and not caching any undo states. This PR relaxes the remounting and ensures both inputs and text areas have keyed caches so undo history will not be lost.
I'm investigating the app menu "edit -> undo" consistency in the app. Kong/insomnia#10167
