Problem Statement

The primary goal of this project is to implement full Gateway API support for Kong Data Planes that are operating in Hybrid mode.
This will be achieved by enabling a pull-based configuration model, which allows a hybrid Data Plane to actively fetch its configuration directly from Konnect.
Ultimately, the key outcome is to achieve feature parity with the existing KIC in Konnect setup. This will provide users with a single, unified, and standard approach for ingress configuration, regardless of which operational mode they choose.

This epic issue will track the effort of this implementation.
