gopro hero 5 wifi/bluetooth function

Hi ! im really, really new to programming and hacking into electronics so I don't know if my problem can be resolved but ill try anyways. My friend recently bought a used and water damaged gopro hero 5 black and both of the screens are dead. The connections are broken and it isnt possible to repair them. Everything else works though. So, my question is : is there any way we could activate the wifi/bluetooth of the camera without using any of the screens ? This way he could use the settings and actually see what he is filming.
