Description
The project currently use Rye, an amazing project & package management for Python.
Armin Ronacher, the creator of Rye, is joining force with the Astral team, developing "next-gen Python tooling" in Rust, with ruff (linter) and uv (project & package management).
Rye is not going to disappear any time soon, but uv is considered the successor project.
uv is not a drop-in replacement for Rye yet, but I think dds-hexmeshing
don't use missing features. Maybe we can migrate to uv now. But the final Rye release should just be an uv wrapper and makes the upgrade transparent.
