Address bar navigates to autocomplete suggestion instead of typed URL when Enter is pressed without explicit selection

Summary

When you type a URL in the address bar and autocomplete highlights a suggestion, that suggestion is forced upon pressing Enter even if the inline autocomplete has been canceled with Backspace. This sometimes makes it impossible to navigate to the URL you actually typed.

Steps to reproduce

1.Clear full browser history (I only know doing it by deleting history sqlite file)
2.Visit youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
3.Open new tab
4.Try visiting youtube.com

Expected behavior

Should be easy to navigate to youtube.com on autocomplete backspace, then enter

Actual behavior

Forcibly sent to the past video link you visited.

Same here, the only way for me to enter a url without the forced autocomplete is to press Esc then Enter
