Custom text in footer

Hi!
I have to have an imprint on my site, but I don't to want the link in the header. I'd like to have it in the footer instead, but the only way I see currently is to misuse the creditsText and creditsUrl parameters to create an internal link to the imprint page. Since I want to show credits for the theme, an option to add custom text to the footer would be nice.

An additional problem is, that creditsUrl opens the imprint in a new tab :(

Ok, I just entered
<a title="Impressum" href="/page/impressum" target="_self" el="noopener noreffer">Impressum</a>

in the footer.html and moved it to /layouts/partials/footer.html
