Uncertainty regarding .tsv files #19
Description
Initial code was written on the presumption that the .tsv extension should be considered as corresponding to "metadata". This may have been loaded by the prior proposal that this format be used to encode diffusion gradient tables with a realspace coordinate convention (bids-standard/bids-specification#352). Also the Inheritance Principle as currently written includes .tsv in the list of possible metadata file extensions.
Quickly skimming through the specification suggests however that its use implies a classification of either a special reserved file, or a data file.
