E-Mail if Reservation created for Resource Admin. E-Mail for User if Reservation got approved by a Resource Admin

Hi everyone,

at first I want to thank you for developing and maintaining this project.

Can LibreBooking be configured to automatically send an email to Resource Admins when a user books a resource? Additionally, is it possible to notify the user via email when their booking request is either accepted or declined?

I was looking for those options and decided to ask the question here before I take a deeper look into the code, since it maybe helps also other people. Other than that, the SMTP integration works very well.

The 2 first should be set to 'true', and then play with nitification for resources, app and or groups.

So I set every possible announcement setting to true. But I noticed that new users automatically start with ALL notifications disabled. That is a bad Idea and I will open an issue.

@supaeasy, actually my new user get all notifications enabled by default. I just created a dummy user and the user_email_preferences table looked like this:

I'm using the latest container image librebooking/librebooking:2.8.6.2. Maybe this omits the need of your proposed automation script in #223 (comment).

As for my problem, I will likely debug the Notify method in the AdminEmailNotification class once I have the time for it. A quick look at the code revealed that at least the resource admin notification should work, so I still think there is some misconfiguration on my side.

Just adding to this is there a way to get a notification sent to the user who booked the resource to receive an email to say the booking was approved?
