[Enhancement]: Integrating Universal Design Principles - Clearer Toggle-On for Tools

What features would you like to see added?

Universal Design is essential for users of various abilities and functional levels to be able to access the UI, and we strive to achieve WCAG standard on websites to make them as accessible as possible. I'm not seeing this described or detailed in LC docs.

A specific issue we have encountered is in regards to using tools. When using tools like web search, and file uploads, toggling on the feature gives a slight blue hue on the button. This is a nice design, but unfortunately it's barely visible based on feedback from many users who struggle knowing when said feature is actually turned on. It's encouraged to supplement the visibility of toggle-on with a symbol, a change to the button's appearance - like inverted colors or borders, an activation slider, alt text detailing "on" or "off", checkboxes, or some other design making it easier to distinguish whether the tool is on or off. Higher contrast in the color change is also appreciated in this regard.
