uhmm..like i installed the new version upon the old one..not 5..it was 4..so like after installation the app doent lauch.. a black screen pops and cloeses automatically..pls help..!

bro at first..no way my gpu doesnt support hardware acceleration.. i literally have rtx 4050 up to date drivers installed..and the cmd lines u gave didnt solve anything..😓

Hello ASMcoreX, i think i found the solution, so u can go to the directory ProjectLightningV5 and you can type 'cmd' in the address bar Next, simply type the command "Project Lightning.exe" --disable-gpu --no-sandbox , Chances are it will work because it works on my device.

If you want to launch it again after turn on ur device but suddenly find you can't, you can use this method:

1. Go to your desktop and find the Project Lightning shortcut icon.
2. Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties.
3. Make sure you're on the Shortcut tab.
4. Note the Target field. Click at the very end of the text (right after the closing quotation mark ").
5. Leave a space, then type/copy this code:
   --disable-gpu --no-sandbox
6. Note: The final result in the Target field should look something like this:
   "C:\Users\Device\AppData\Roaming\ProjectLightningV5\ProjectLightning.exe" --disable-gpu --no-sandbox
7. Click Apply, then click OK (if prompted for Administrator permission, just click Continue/Yes)

Here’s the thing: the application's graphics system conflicts with your device graphics card. Because of this conflict, the app's built-in security system (the sandbox) triggers a safety response and automatically force-closes the app before it can even appear on the screen. The code in that shortcut is designed to bypass that security trigger. It’s perfectly safe it’s purely a workaround for how the laptop displays the app; it doesn't affect game levels or server connections.
