Agenda

1. CI: Update to ubuntu-26.04 #4477 G7x new algo, and -ffp-contract=off project wise discussion.
2. Deprecation backport of mesa_modbus to 2.9 (mesa_modbus: deprecate in favor of hm2_modbus #4386). The 2.9 branch has everything in place to migrate.
3. Migrate gscreen (and any other) to support s/ms on [DISPLAY]CYCLE_TIME or do we finally pick one? Minimally we need consistency (Unify [DISPLAY]CYCLE_TIME unit handling across GUIs #4424).

   • homing.c: fix accumulation of HOME_OFFSETs when re-homing absolute encoders (2.9 backport) #4341
   • Orient.comp: Add modes with preceding homing to index #4343
   • G12.1, G13.1: select the kinematics type from G-code #4414
   • rs274ngc: back the rotary tool offset out of machine coordinates #4416
   • axis: jog increments follow the selected axis type (degrees vs linear) #4418 - needs additional discussion

   • 5axiskins, maxkins: take the tool length through a pin like every other rotary module #4431 - status? ready to merge
   • Fix spindle position-sync jitter and catch infeasible thread pitches #4441 - fixes Excessive jitter spindle position tracking #164 and Warn users that spindle is too fast in G33 / G95 #167 with about 10 year lag ;-)
   • gladevcp: fix velocity DRO row position on non-lathes #4444 - bug fix
   • tp: keep the G33 sync origin on the spindle index #4453
   • include: move the exported headers into a directory of their own #4461 (maybe this needs to wait til old HAL API deprecation?)
   • hal: Stop exporting halpr_*() private functions and shared memory base #4469 HAL getter/setter progression

I'm not sure if it's something we want to fix, or leave alone as a documented we don't check this . It may just pop out for free from the multi axis work I've started 🤔

Agenda item: [DISPLAY]CYCLE_TIME units, continued from #4415/#4417. Master now has axis/qtvcp/gmoccapy dual-unit and gscreen ms-only; docs say "depends on the screen". Options and details in #4424. Looking for a decision: keep dual everywhere (align gscreen + docs), or standardize on one unit with a transition plan.

Moved the G7x as first, as the G33 stuff I think I got it figured out, it is part of the PR's anyway
