Erroneous behavior with symbol keys

With the alphanumeric keys, the program works as intended. But when you bind a shortcut to a combination that contains symbols, the program exhibits erroneous behavior. For example, if you bind a key to 'Control + ;', it doesn't work.
I use the Dvorak keyboard layout, and wanted to change the shortcuts to match their positions on a QWERTY layout. Usually, I'd be able to make do with the above mentioned bug, but the 'Close tab' key happens to become " Control + ' ", which makes it impossible to use the shortcut.

It is basically impossible to make a layout-aware extension in Firefox. The method I ended up settling for uses a mix of Firefox keycodes and physical key-locations (KeyboardEvent.code) mappings as the most complete and flexible possible option. I have yet to try to reproduce the behavior you indicate but you should be aware of this. In some cases, it will mean the application will print out an erroneous label for a key that will otherwise work normally.

It appears you might be right, though; it's behaving in an unexpected way. I'll see what can be done to correct it.
