[SOLVED] #error PrettyOTA needs the "ESPAsyncWebServer" library (from ESP32Async) version 3.0 or newer.

I have ESP Async WebServer by ESPAsync version 3.7.4 installed in Adruino IDE 2.3.5.

The error seems not correct.

There are two different forks of ESPAsyncWebServer (the correct one is the bottom one in the picture). You should have the right version, make sure that you do not have the other fork (the top library in the picture) installed, since they use the same header filenames. That can lead to a mix up. Only use the bottom one and remove any other library that has the same or similar name.

Ahhh, yes I had both installed. Removing the forked one allows the code to compile and operate as advertised.
