[Non-technical] 3D Case/Housing

Hi guys,

this is not quite techical related to this github but I thought I was asking anyways because of the great community in here.

Has anybody made any experience with a Case or Housing for the scoreboard?

I have a 132x64 (4 LEDs) and I wanted to hang it somewhere on my wall with a cool case around it.

Would be cool to hear from you.

Some people have posted on our discord about cases they've done, usually 3-d printed but a few woodworking projects as well

Hello,

Always loved Halladay! I have a scoreboard frame I had made out of extruded aluminum with magnets that hold the LED panels in place. I had created the design back in 2019 and had a supplier in China create it. I ended up with 20 of these frames. My goal was to build these out and to sell online but then Raspberry Pi's shot up in price.

This is for (2) LED panels. I would love to see a pic of your 4 pack!

I'm terrible with the software end and could use some help. I'm in suburban Chicago. Message me and I'll just ship one out no cost if you cover the shipping.

I found a couple of 3d models you could print from while searching, but I've ended up buying a couple from Etsy since I don't have a 3d printer.

If you're using this box, there's not a lot of depth to it. A full size Pi is really hard to jam in there. Best off using a Zero 2 WH with the bonnet to keep the size down as much as possible. Happy spring training!
