We strongly encourage events considering a digital or hybrid format to host an in-person hackathon instead. Ultimately, we have limited resources and are focusing on hackathons that we believe have the most impact on hackers (in-person hackathons). We still ask digital and hybrid events to complete the [MLH Member Event Application](https://mlh.link/member-event-application). This helps us gauge organizer interest in these events. Additionally, when evaluating applications, we look for events that have consistently applied to work with us, so putting in an application (even for a digital or hybrid event) helps us prioritize your hackathon in the future.
