@patrickt Should we keep this issue open? IIRC the platform is now deduping image files so the impact of duplicate posts is minimal on the server side, albeit not necessarily in the UI.

I'm going to close this issue on the assumption that it's a duplicate of the browser extension issue described here:
MLTSHP/mltshp_plugins#1

If this is a problem specific to the site rather than browser extensions, a new ticket can be filed with more detailed information.
