Please allow users to use Kvaesitso search as a standalone

Currently without Kvaesitso set as default launcher, we're unable to use or search app shortcuts.

This is not a limitation of Android as Sesame was able to search app shortcuts.

A standalone Kvaesitso search setup would make it possible to set Kvaesitso search as a shortcut to find things through our whole phone with ease on any launcher, from any screen.

From the Android docs:

public boolean hasShortcutHostPermission ()

Returns whether the caller can access the shortcut information. Access is currently available to:

• The current launcher (or default launcher if there is no set current launcher).
• The currently active voice interaction service.

Note when this method returns false, it may be a temporary situation because the user is trying a new launcher application. The user may decide to change the default launcher back to the calling application again, so even if a launcher application loses this permission, it does not have to purge pinned shortcut information. If the calling launcher application contains pinned shortcuts, they will still work, even though the caller no longer has the shortcut host permission.

And if you look closely, you'll notice that Sesame uses a hack to read shortcuts which allows them to only able to read half of the shortcuts: they are able to read static shortcuts (such as "Chrome: New tab", or "Play Store: My apps"), but not dynamic shortcuts such as chats, or recently used documents

Regardless of app shortcuts, I'd still love the option for a standalone search or a seperate app because it's search is the best one in Android. I currently use TBLauncher in pop-up view but i miss the advanced features of Kvaesitso search like search in app and file search. I'd love if the Kvaesitso devs made a seperate app or an option for standalone search even if it doesn't have app shortcut support.

There is a shortcut called "Search" which launches Kvaesitso in standalone search mode.

That would still be better than nothing imo.

Further, the possibility of using root is a potential other method.
