Error in making symlinks for emacs major mode

I tried to install the newest version of Macaulay via brew but got the
following error message.

brew install Macaulay2/tap/M2
Warning: macaulay2/tap/macaulay2 1.24.05 is already installed, it's just
not linked.
To link this version, run:
   brew link macaulay2
