Is it possible to install RBDOOM-3-BFG on Linux without Wine?

quick question: is it possible to install the Game without installing it via Wine beforehand?

For example by using innoextract?

Hi, yes. DOOM BFA has native linux binaries (pre build and tested to work well even on the Steam Deck) which can be better in performance than the windows binaries while keeping the same functionallity.

I've installed Doom BFA Flatpak and when launching it I'm getting an error stating the following:

Failed to find the Game's base path
Please install a compatible Game

I know that I need the original game files, and I got the GOG installer downloaded. Do I need to run that installer with Wine in order to get an installation that can be found by Doom BFA, or is it possible to use innoextract to extract the necessary files from the GOG installer and place them in the according folder manually?

If it's possible, use innoextract to extract just the game's base folder.
That is all that you need, the Flatpack version will search only for the _common.resources and determine from there were is the game
