What is the status of this project, plus a few ideas

I'm specing out what an AI-first email client would look like and came across this project. I tried the paid version and was not impressed, but I understand it might still be early days. The UI is really nice, but it is definitely not an "AI First" email system at the moment. It doesn't seem to be under active development, and I'd like to know if the company is working on a private code version of this and adding in new AI features?

I have a long list of AI features I would be interested in contributing to, but I would love to know the project's status and who is actively working on it.
