blurr doesn't work on windows 11 25h2

Describe the bug

on windows 11 25h2 the effect works normaly on new microsoft apps (like the file explorer or task manager) but on classic windows (like the run box or any other programe) the effect doesnt blurr and it is simply transparent + the glowing buttons dont work

To Reproduce

use this programme on windows 11 25h2, eneble button glow

What other third-party software do you use:

windhawk start menu styler (window glass), taskbar styler (translusent), notification center styler (translusent shell)

I updated to 25h2 and i am so sad it doesn't work becouse windows 11 themself look so bland, thank you <3

I can confirm it works just fine in 25H2. however I had an issue where it wouldn't load at start up even though itwas set to start but after searching high and low for a fix I realized that a windows update reset my transparency effects in windows personalization I just didn't think of looking there could kick myself with amount of time I wasted ;/ still at least its now working.

I did that and restarted many times and uninstalled and resinstalled but my blur and aero glass effects still don't work it only works for file explorer

@AAAAAAAA-sta You have to update to Windows 11 build 26200.7171, just install the official stable 25H2 release of Windows 11 and DWMBlurGlass will work again.

25H2 support is available in the beta now, so I'm closing this.
As for 24H2, it's complicated. It used to work fine, but Microsoft unexpectedly modified core code in build 26100.7171. It's very rare for them to touch this in a cumulative update (the .xxxx part) rather than a major release.
This broke the previous compatibility logic, so I need to make some extra adjustments. I'm looking into a fix.
