Crashes on 1.16.5 after clicking start game

It seems like this mod is trying to send a request to some kind of server before a world has been loaded which minecraft doesn't like and crashes because of

Update: This actually seems to only happen if u click ctrl or shift which is.... strange as when you're in the world it works fine
