+### What DecibelGuard does
+DecibelGuard measures ambient noise levels in real time using your device's microphone. That's it.

+### What data we collect
+**Nothing that leaves your device.**

+- **Noise readings** (decibel levels + timestamps) are stored locally in a database on your device.
+- **No audio is ever recorded.** The microphone is used only to calculate a noise level number. Raw audio is processed in memory and immediately discarded.
+- **No personal data** is collected — no name, no email, no location, no device identifiers.
+- **No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs.**

+### How data is stored
+All data stays on your device. DecibelGuard has no servers, no cloud storage, and no internet connection. Your noise history never leaves your phone.

+### How to delete your data
+Open DecibelGuard → Settings → Clear History. This permanently deletes all stored readings from your device.

+Uninstalling the app also removes all data.
