[Feature Request] Does the MarkEdit API allow opening files?

When playing around with the MarkEdit API, I was looking for a way to open a markdown file in a new MarkEdit window or tab. However, I found nothing about this in the documentation. Is there one / are you planning on implementing it?

I am opening this issue here, as MarkEdit-app/MarkEdit-api doesn't allow issues.

Thank you again, for this solid, native editor. It is shaping up to be my go-to markdown editor :)
