Context7 support for Robocop?

Could someone look into how to add Context7 MCP support for Robocop linting? I have to copy/paste specs to my agent like the Neanderthals did :(

What kind of info is needed for spec for Context7? I may take a look into it - we have some ways of generating documentation/specs if needed, but I would need to investigate what is required. Do you know any other linter that has context7 support (for comparison what they produce)?

I assume the default, just scraping what there is in the github repo, gives some kind of reasonable start.

Sure, thanks for pointers! I am actually rewriting our documentation from scratch. Its for 'manual' users but it's also good time to think how to make it easier for AI. Especially how to quickly setup formatter / smoke rules to fix up generated Robot code.

I'm considering having different rules for humans and bots. I'm flat out banning comments and documentation tags atm since it just adds comments spelling out what the name of the keyword already says.

Generally I think people will care less about differences in style when it comes to autogenerated code. You could adopt the philosophy of Prettier where you have a global consensus standard for style so people don't waste time arguing.

• regarding rule sets (more lack / strict rule sets depending in use) it will be also as part of Ship with multiple default rulesets #1523)
