In regard to the security best practices, this project should have Branch Protection enabled. To do this, we will need to have CODEOWNERS and a well defined review process for PR's updating the main branch. This can only be done, when at least one or more Contributors with write access to this repository are onboarded. Till then, I will leave this setting alone.
