I have a custom auto bed leveling probe from an Ecubmaker Toy DIY 4-in-1 that is deployed by homing at a specific XY position to Z max. In Marlin 2.0.9.3 the printer homes Z first at any position before homing XY and crashes because it missed the endstop.

Ecubmaker Toy DIY 4-in-1 ABL probe is a dual ir sensor spring loaded probe deployed by depressing a switch from the top, probe's like a spring loaded bl touch, and retracts the probe by homing to the X and depressing a release switch.
