This is heartbreaking. I also had the privilege of working with Joe a couple of months ago, and he was always bringing new ideas to improve and share within the open-source community. |

I talked with Joe via Slack some years ago about Masonite and software in General, he was a nice person and always looking for improvement both in technical and personal aspects. He was a great example to follow. |

I am so sad to read that. I have contributed and learned a lot with him. We were really happy to work together on this nice project. I really enjoyed those months and years working on Masonite with him. I am also sorry to have let the Masonite community behind because I also needed to back off two years ago for personal reasons. I am truly sorry. I did not find time and energy yet to get back to Masonite. But this terrible event might give me energy to contribute again to the project as I did before. |

Hi everyone. I had the opportunity to work closely with Joe during the last period of his life, and after his passing I committed to continuing the project. To keep Masonite alive, I migrated the framework and ecosystem into a new GitHub organization and we're starting a new chapter: Framework: While the original stars and momentum can't be transferred, the code, community, and vision can. If you're interested in Python web development, open source, or looking for a project to contribute to, I'd love for you to check it out. Feedback, contributors, and community support are all welcome. Thanks for taking a look. |

Good morning Masonite community,
I regret to inform you all that @josephmancuso has passed away due to health complications. Please keep his family in your thoughts during this time.
I had the privilege of working alongside Joe for many years, and it was clear as day how much Masonite meant to him. Even when fighting for his life, he continued doing everything he could to maintain and support this project.
One of the beautiful things about open source is that we build together. While Joe is no longer with us, Masonite can continue to grow and evolve through the contributions of this community. I hope we all continue working toward the vision he poured so much of himself into.
