i created this setting thanks to the author of this project he really helped making it look like my old ips and like the old version that i liked 0.0.5 text is really clear now and i wanted to share it so maybe it can help somebody else if anyone wants to reccomend me other setting or how to improve this preset please let me know

Is the text better throughout the whole system? I'm on the verge of getting an LG display that uses the same glossy rwbg panel as AQDMG but I do quite a lot of work with text (both browser and vscode) and not sure if puretype will resolve it completely

puretype has resolve it for me at 90% of the case there is still work to do but the author is getting there im the only one active here as you can see i open a lot of issues and the author is fixing lots of thing he is very good and really helpful,l i use the monitor for a lot of thing i look a lot on text in chrome but i use --disable-lcd-tex on chrome short cut and i dont have any problems now like artifacting weird shadows like on orange etc for windows related stuff i use puretype that is always on for everything but on chrome i use that string so my setup is like my ips monitor for everything i suggest you to look one IRL or buying it and returning it i can really say for vscode but for chrome expirience for me is same as my old 2k ips with puretype on ofcourse and the string i told you before

shortly yes text is 10 times better throughout the whole system consider that this project is still in alpha so there is a few things to be fixed

QD Oled is just better of Woled, also in text.
I use my puretype enabled default on my pc.
Its a complete other experience.

I can't go QD-OLED sadly because it gives me eye strain and headaches. And the only WOLED I have the budget for is that LG glossy rwbg one. I wish I could find someone owning one around me and check how it goes with the Puretype.
