My SF Bay experiment makes me confident that my new Rust-based routing implementation can handle a NYC-sized graph (which might not even be that big given that NYC doesn't have alleys). NYC is also steadily building out bike infrastructure, so it's particularly useful as a tool to raise awareness of new routes.
