See: #375 And if you are in North America, you shouldn't be using either Nocmig model. They only have European species. |

Thanks very much for the information and my apologies for missing that earlier thread (I tried searching "Nighthawk" but clearly didn't do it properly). |

Out of interest, how long does NightHawk take to run an analysis? I saw this bmvandoren/Nighthawk#18 which makes me think it is really slow @ ~7 hours for a 10 hour session using CPU? If it is that slow, I may train a custom model in Chirpity for the species Nighthawk supports. |

When installing on my Apple M3 Pro I set it up to allow for GPU usage. I process a 10 hour session in ~50 minutes. I'm not sure how long with just CPU. |

@warmtape - Hey - I've just released an update to Chirpity that allows you to import and run my JavaScript port of Nighthawk as a custom model. See here for details: #583 On my 8GB M2 MacBook Pro it runs GPU inference at 21x - so 10 hours would be done in < 30 minutes. I'd imagine it'd be a bit faster on an M3 Pro. |

Is there currently a way to run the Nighthawk model within Chirpity? https://github.com/bmvandoren/Nighthawk
I find that this model currently works better than the NocMig v2 Beta that comes preloaded in Chirpity.
