Codebase Patterns

  • CMS Driven: All quiz content (questions, answers, results) is fetched from Supabase.
  • State Management: Uses a client-side store (Zustand) to track weights across 3 axes.
  • Stateless/Anonymous: No user authentication. State is ephemeral or re-hydrated via payment tokens.
  • Styling: "Editorial Serenity" aesthetic. Minimalist, Serif headers, Sans-serif body.
  • Hybrid AI: 80% templated content + 20% LLM personalization for results.

2026-01-22 - US-001

  • Created clusters and pairings tables in Supabase.
  • Updated Question and Answer tables with gating logic and flags support.
  • Updated src/types.ts and src/store/useQuizStore.ts to support the new schema and flags tracking.
  • Verified type compatibility across the store and diagnostic logic.

2026-01-22 - US-002

  • Seeded clusters table with high-quality content for all 5 archetypes (Anchor, Caretaker, Sovereign, Observer, Seeker).
  • Seeded pairings table with common interaction loops (Pursuit-Withdraw, Functional Void).
  • Verified data integrity via Supabase SQL checks.

2026-01-22 - US-004 & US-005

  • Created Stripe product and price ($9) for full report diagnostic.
  • Deployed Supabase Edge Functions: create-checkout-session and stripe-webhook.
  • Implemented transactions and entitlements tables in Supabase for payment tracking.
  • Integrated Stripe Checkout into ResultsTeaser.tsx with session-based entitlement logic.
  • Added quizSessionId (persistent UUID) to Zustand store to link anonymous users to payments.
  • Verified typecheck passes.
  • Note: Deployment tested, but Stripe status 400 encountered due to missing STRIPE_SECRET_KEY in Supabase project secrets.

2026-01-22 - US-010 (Complete)

  • Created scripts/seed_full_quiz.ts with all 33+ questions from quiz_design.md across 6 phases
  • Created scripts/seed_full_quiz_answers.ts with all 173 answer options, flags, and weighted scoring
  • Updated src/types.ts: Changed Phase type from 3 phases to 6 phases with PHASE_NAMES display mapping
  • Updated src/components/QuizView.tsx: Now uses PHASE_NAMES for human-readable phase labels
  • Applied migration to update questions_phase_check constraint to support 6 phases
  • Successfully seeded 44 questions and 173 answers to Supabase
  • Verified quiz flow in browser: Phase names display correctly, questions load, branching works
  • Updated prd.json with 7 new user stories (US-010 through US-016) for continued refinement
  • Typecheck passed

2026-01-22 - US-011 (Complete)

  • Implemented Pattern Archetype Scoring Engine in src/store/useQuizStore.ts
  • Created 6 PatternArchetype definitions matching quiz_design.md
  • Built FLAG_WEIGHTS mapping 70+ quiz flags to archetypes with weighted contributions
  • Implemented getPatternArchetype() function that returns primary/secondary archetype based on flag accumulation
  • Secondary archetype only shown if score is ≥40% of primary and >3 points
  • Maintained backward compatibility via getRecommendedClusters() wrapper
  • Typecheck passed

2026-01-22 - US-012 (Complete)

  • Enhanced ResultsTeaser.tsx with archetype-driven content per quiz_design.md
  • Pattern name (primary) displayed prominently with Core Fear subtitle
  • Dynamic one-paragraph explanation for each of 6 archetypes
  • Reflection quote displayed if user provided one
  • Paywall copy uses "See the Full Pattern" with bullet points
  • Typecheck passed

2026-01-22 - US-013 (Complete)

  • Updated seed_content.ts with 6 Pattern Archetypes matching quiz_design.md
  • Each archetype has: reveal_summary, early/mid/stress_dive, misreads, protective_logic
  • Added 6 pairing interaction narratives for primary/secondary combos
  • All content seeded to Supabase successfully

2026-01-22 - US-014 (Complete)

  • Added 260+ lines of mobile-first CSS to index.css
  • Touch-friendly 56px+ tap targets for options and buttons
  • Micro-animations: selection ripple, radio fill, button press feedback
  • Safe area padding for notched devices
  • Skeleton loading states, smooth scrolling, focus states
  • Verified on 375px mobile viewport - all targets adequate
  • Typecheck passed

2026-01-22 - US-015 (Complete)

  • Created LandingPage.tsx component
  • Hero section with compelling headline: "The same relationship. Different person."
  • Trust indicators: 31+ questions, 6 archetypes, 12 report sections
  • "What you'll discover" benefits grid
  • Quote section and dual CTAs
  • Added 200+ lines of responsive landing page CSS
  • Browser verified: landing → quiz transition works
  • Typecheck passed

2026-01-22 - US-016 (Complete)

  • E2E flow verification completed via browser subagent
  • Tested 22 questions across Phase 1/2/3
  • Phase transitions (Pattern Recognition → Core Vulnerability → Response Under Threat) working
  • Progress bar tracking correctly (XX/44)
  • State persistence verified
  • All transitions smooth
  • Minor UX note: Continue button may require scroll on short viewports

  • US-001 through US-009: Initial implementation (schema, content, payments, AI, analytics)
