clipboard: let it work over http connections

Hi,

starting with version 8.3.0 (also 9.0.0 and 9.0.3) I'm getting the error "This browser doesn't support this feature" on all click for copy elements (code, headline links).
It works in 8.2.0 and below.

I've tried several browsers: Firefox (macOS), Safari (macOS), Edge (Windows), Firefox (GhostBSD).

The clipboard.js library was removed. Now the theme uses the browsers navigator.clipboard API and informs you when it is unavailable. Supported browser: https://caniuse.com/?search=navigator+clipboard

all my tested browsers are within the supported browsers range. They have been tested in most recent version. Any ideas?

I've checked the page in Firefox and Safari web console. All site ressources are loaded successfully, except for perfect-scrollbar.min.js.map.

I have a gut feeling... Is your site accessed via non-local http request (not https)?

Please run the following code in a dev console and post its output.

Yes, that's it... Website is a documentation site hosted inside LAN only. Access via http because there is absolutely no need for https in this context.

Clipboard API available: false
clipboard-read permission not supported

When accessing the site locally via hugo server the clipboard feature works.

Hey Thorsten, thanks for reporting. Most likely there will be a fix in the next release. It doesn't look to complicated. Sadly, I am currently busy with other stuff, so this may take a little longer.
