[Bug]: Transcation Confirmed on Fantom Blockchain, but Only Reflected in MetaMask Way Longer After

Describe the bug

MetaMask takes a huge amount of time to sync with Fantom Blockchain. When the transaction is confirmed (see on the blockchain explorer), MetaMask still does not reflect the state of the transaction. MM stills shows “pending” status.

Steps to reproduce

Unfortunately, it's difficult to reproduce it. As of today, I did not find a way to reproduce it consistently.

Error messages or log output

There's no error message though.

It might be due to the fact the Fantom network has been congested.
