What is this about?

The latest Metamask release (currently Version 12.17.2) is not posted here yet:

When will this be officially added?

You can use Firefox Developer Edition to run the release manually:

https://support.metamask.io/managing-my-wallet/using-metamask/how-to-install-metamask-manually/

but an official release for Firefox would be great.
