Flask 10.23 has been released! Look here for breaking changes

Flask 10.23 has been released to Chrome and Firefox today. This includes our first release of Cron Jobs, which enables scheduling of periodic actions. Learn more about Cron Jobs here: https://docs.metamask.io/guide/snaps-exports.html#oncronjob

This update also includes some breaking changes:

• Replace Buffer with Typed Arrays
  • Snaps are no longer automatically given a polyfill for buffers, they must include their own or use typed arrays as an alternative. See @metamask/utils for useful alternatives.
  • All types of typed arrays have been added by default
• Updated key-tree to version 6.0.0
  • All hexadecimal values are now prefixed with 0x
  • All fields named […]Buffer have been renamed to […]Bytes . The types are now typed arrays
  • Please update your snap to use the latest version of the package
