I'm trying to find the matching conditions for some exotic undulators that focus in the y direction and weakly defocuses in the x direction. Effectively a quadrupole with length L that has strength -kx in x and ky in y direction. I guess the easiest way is to define two lines and find the matching conditions in x and y separately. Is it possible to match the twiss parameters in one direction only for a line?
