Feature Request - XE1-AP

For better visibility, I am copying this ticket from dshadoff over:
MiSTer-devel/MegaDrive_MiSTer#63

A few years ago, I wrote a module to support the XE-1 AP controller on PC Engine; this module should also work on:
Sega MagaDrive
Sega CD
Sega 32X
...and other systems.

It might be interesting if somebody could connect it up properly to drive the controller inputs.
