Pi pico USB on GPIO pin or USB connector differents behaviour

On pi pico with Koenix joystick (dongle) behave differently whether it is connected on GPIO pins or USB connector (using codes compiled with the relevant #define set)

When connected to USB connector FPGA-Companion ends with *** PANIC ***

Same behaviour when joystick is connected alone or thru Hub with mouse/keyboard dongle

When connected to GPIO pins everything is OK.

Any idea where to look for is welcome.

With some other joysticks everything is OK whatever the GPIO pin or USB connector is used.

Checkout tinyusb to tag 0.20.0 allow to mount (my) joystick when usb is on PIO. Doesn't mount when usb is on pi pico native connector.

In fact my joystick behave a 'strange' way (in my point of view) :
It requires 2 almost full enumerations. During first enumeration it report itself as a standard HID device. Then after a USB port abort it finaly report as an Xbox joystick.

Both enumerations occur when in PIO mode. But Panic arise after the first enumeration when in native usb connector mode.
