On Screen Menu Size

I do have a large collection of Amiga Demos for the NanoMig. Many files and folders and long filenames. Is there a technical reason why the menu is small? Could it be a bit longer and higher? Could the size be variable and be defined in the config file?

The screen buffer of the OSD resides inside the FPGA. Making it bigger consumes more FPGA ram and also needs some rewrite of the menu system to cope with varying display sizes.

Still having it configurable is somewhere on my to-do list. Bit admittedly not very high ...

Well it's also a waste of ram that the code does not shorten the filenames to 32 chars since they are not visible but still loaded in the ram I think maybe better to see more text and have less characters per title.

The long names are being displayed. Just keep the selection a few seconds on the long file name. It'll then start scrolling.

Also, the file names are stored in MCU/RP2040 memory while the screen buffer is inside the FPGAs internal memory.
