📢 Shimmy Release Update - Version Issues Resolved

What Happened

We discovered several version mismatches in recent shimmy releases where:

• Some release tags existed without corresponding GitHub releases
• Users experienced broken downloads (Issue Pre-built 1.4.2 windows exe reports as version 0.1.0 with -V #63)
• Installation from crates.io failed due to missing template files (Issue Unable to compile 1.5.1 #64)

What We Fixed

• ✅ Released missing versions: v1.5.2, v1.5.3, v1.5.4, v1.5.5 are now properly available
• ✅ Fixed v1.4.2: Replaced broken release with working version
• ✅ Resolved installation issues: cargo install shimmy now works correctly
• ✅ Added safeguards: Implemented comprehensive CI/CD version validation to prevent future issues

Current Status

• Latest stable release: v1.5.5 (includes all critical fixes)
• All versions now properly aligned between crates.io and GitHub releases
• Full backward compatibility maintained
• Mandatory version validation now blocks any release with version mismatches
