Hey Mike, Thanks for the warm welcome. I wholeheartedly support what you are building here. I've been building scripts to deploy models in various configurations using Ollama, vLLM and others across my 4 GPUs. I believe the cloud cost is decreasing enough that for most use cases remote hosted LLMs (and LLM eco systems) will always lead, but the off-network element is critical both in terms of true privacy and rapid development of models and code. Hence Shimmy makes all the sense to me! Best Regards |
