Homebrew Tap for Orbit

This is the official Homebrew tap for Orbit - The AI-Augmented Browser Workspace for macOS.

Installation

# Add the tap
brew tap chindris-mihai-alexandru/orbit

# Install Orbit
brew install orbit

Quick Start

# Create a web app from any website
orbit create https://gmail.com --name Gmail

# Enable AI sidecar (requires Ollama)
orbit config --enable-ai

# List all apps
orbit list

# Remove an app
orbit remove Gmail

About Orbit

Orbit creates AI-powered browser workspaces for macOS with:

  • Local AI Sidecar: Chat with your web apps using local LLMs (Ollama)
  • Per-App Networking: Route individual apps through specific proxies
  • Deep Customization: Persistent CSS/JS injection to fix and enhance web apps
