Ability or placeholder to show playerlist online

Right now when making our hovering message we have to choose between

1. A custom message that looks fancy but doesn't show who's online
   

2. No custom message but it does show who's online.
   

Can't these 2 simply be combined? Perhaps in a custom way where we can decide where to list the players online? And if not just simply have it at the bottom?
