Checking for mod updates doesn’t work #2323

@Nevrai

Description

@Nevrai

The problem:

Using the ‘Force-check updates’ option does nothing aside from logging ‘Checking updates for X mods...’

To Reproduce:

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Right-click a mod.
  2. Click ‘Force-check updates’

Environment:

  • Mod Organizer Version that exhibits the issue: 2.5.2
  • Desktop OS/version used to run Mod Organizer: Windows 11
  • Game: Cyberpunk 2077

Details

Force-checking updates for a mod does nothing other than a single log line. I don’t see any feedback regarding whether or not any mods require updates, so I’m presuming that it fails to check for updates or gets stuck at doing so.

This happens even if I just check one mod. No other log lines appear, even when using the debug level.
