So much of the code needs tests. There are not many tests, and we need little chunks of frequency space across many scans to play with and see what is happening.

So we have more tests now! 🎉

But we could use some faster ones that test the region splitting. Like given some small range of m/z, it subsets to those m/z, then does the overlap in signal, and finds the peak regions and peaks within them. That should be fairly fast.
