I have noticed that the new suite2p 1.0.0 .1does much worse registration on my particular dataset than the version 0.12.1 (I know it's ancient, I'm sorry!) with the same set of parameters (except for the new defaults I did not tweak them). I do have unusual data so if it only affects my dataset and everyone else is happy about the performance ... I guess I'll live with that.
Will attached example pictures and the settings for your convenience and can also share the data if it would be helpful for you. Let me know if you need further information on the sensor or recording parameters. Just to be clear, it is in vivo calcium imaging (GCaMP) through a prism (thus the unusual FOV).
