Discuss whether the following terms need to be included to the PREFER Ontology or they will be handled in the application domain.
List of terms intermediate calculated terms:
- compound lost in sample
- substrate lost in sampling
- volume to add none
- liquid volume (without corrected samples)
- liquid volume downscaled
- volume Added
- accumulated sample volume
- sample volume
List of other terms and specifications missing:
- average specific biomass growth rate (in batch/feed phase). For reporting key process indicators, but do not define which time points in each phase were averaged.
- average specific substrate uptake rate (in feed phase). For reporting key process indicators, but do not define which time points in each phase were averaged.
- pre-optional culture: The first seed, optional, usually cultivated in a flask.
- pre-final culture: The second seed, usually cultivated in a flask but it could also be in a bioreactor.
- bioreactor scale: Pilot/Industrial? scale ranges from 100L - 10 m3.
- Microbioreactor scale: the range from nano-liter to micro-liter (nL-µL) scale., max 100 µL)
- Minibioreactor scale: the range from micro-liter to mili-liter (µL-mL) scale. Start from 100µL-10000mL, since there is no class between mini and pilot bioreactor scale.
