Is there any work not clear here about updating the ruby wrapper to work with 2.1? If not, I'd be happy to take on the task but I don't want to step on any toes internally at MSF if that work has already begun.
Looks like besides explicitly allowing for the new version, the changes are auth-related. If there is a place where the differences between 1.2 and 2.1 are documented, @bradbarkhouse , that would help with the updating.
For the record, I use MSF in Ruby apps all the time, but with Net::Http calls.
